My name is Sebastian Paulson, I grew up in the woods in Northern Michigan. Saftiuk is my middle name but, more importantly, it is my Mother’s family name. I build and design at my shop in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Greenpoint is Brooklyn’s Northernmost neighborhood, it is a predominantly Polish neighborhood and has been an artisanal stronghold for centuries. There, my work is equally rewarding and demanding; I am no stranger to the sunrise. This collection of furniture is my effort to put nature on display in inventive and enduring ways.
